War Drum Studios, LLC, is a turnkey game developer with a history of developing high-quality titles on nearly every modern platform. Our most recent game releases include a complete PS2 title, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and four launch titles for the Apple iPhone.
Founded in 2007, War Drum is run by Thomas Williamson, its CEO and Technical Director, and Jeremy Stieglitz, its Creative Director. Thomas and Jeremy began by designing robust game engine technology at their previously-owned company Artificial Studios, which created the Reality Engine technology and sold to Epic Games in 2005. At Artificial Studios, Thomas and Jeremy also directed video game development on several major console and PC titles, including Monster Madness and CellFactor.
With War Drum, our operating principle has been to select the most talented individuals, and hone them into the finest team possible. Guided by Thomas' keen technical insight and Jeremy's extensive game design background, War Drum's production staff are able to cover the complete spectrum of game development disciplines -- code, art, and design -- with razor-sharp management and efficiency.
War Drum Studios also creates technology on the forefront of old and new platforms alike. Our current focus is on developing WarEngine, a next generation game engine for Xbox360, PS3, and future consoles, and WarMobile, an already
War Drum Studios is based in the great city of Gainesville, FL, and is dedicated to our community and friends here in Gainesville. We do our best to supply our business exclusively through locally supported goods and services.
