War Drum Studios is seeking a full-time, experienced colleague to join our Quality Assurance Testing team where you will test games and report bugs on a daily basis. We are looking for a motivated, well-organized person who can work well in a team-oriented environment. Come join our team and help shape the future of the games we create.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with QA lead on all assigned tasks
- Find ways to break game systems while testing
- Write detailed reports on how to reproduce issues
- Work through software test plans and document issues
- Work through agile tasks on Jira
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the current video game landscape
- Experience with agile methodology
- Jira proficiency
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and own your work
- Ability to work well with teammates
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Detail-oriented & extremely well-organized
- Relocation to Gainesville– although this job may start off remotely due to current circumstances, you will be asked to work from the office once we open back up
Good to Have
- Previous experience working in multiple game engines
- Passion and knowledge of video games
- Creative problem-solving skills
